I loved watching the episodes of Sewing with Nancy. Havent been able to get the recent books, but would enjoy having them for my happy reading time. She will forever be missed by those whose lives she touched! I felt she was so personal in the way she taught us how to sew, quilt and machine embroidered. I greatly admire her. When I finally made the trip to the Sewing weekend- it was wonderful to see her in person. I can only imagine how sad her family is without her. I had watched her from the very beginning and still do. I always refer to Nancy when I have a sewing question. I came to appreciate Nancy and her gifts as I learned improved techniques. There were so many ideas to try. Her Jeans book I use constantly and presently am making jean quilts for our Veterans in a nursing home. I wish I could have met her personally. Nancy will forever be missed. She was a very lovely lady. I consider one of the highlights of my sewing life to have been an attendee at one of Nancys last Babylock retreats. I have always enjoyed Nancy and was fortunate to meet her at one of her events. I am thankful that her show is still being shown on PBS. I can hear her sewing machine buzzing in heaven!
